The Challenge

Implement ZUGFeRD for customer and supplier invoices inside an S/4HANA rollout that was already under way, alongside the Peppol and e-mail channels.

Our Approach

We worked alongside the upgrade operator and an external development team to configure and build the file following SAP Best Practices, and made sure the master data it feeds from was clean and well organized.

The Outcome

A ZUGFeRD solution aligned with SAP Best Practices and fed by clean, consistent master data.

The Approved Platform is a more complex configuration than Peppol and calls for a different approach: it requires further contracts with SAP and the local authorities to get the process running.
